Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers bring the sacrament to homebound members as they are assigned. There is also a card ministry to our homebound members.
We witness the presence and power of Christ in our lives and in the church, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through activities that help us grow in faith, and live out that faith in our daily lives.
The ministries of St Mark help us to love God and love each other as part of our witness to the good news of Jesus. We welcome volunteers to support and expand our mission of community witness and outreach. For more information about any of these ministries, please consult the Google calendar, contact the church office at stmark@stmarkcares.org or by calling 563.322.5318.

The food pantry is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am to 12:45 pm. (Closed on holidays)
St Mark provides a large share of the food distributed but donations are welcome during the pantry hours. Please no outdated or open items.
If you knit, crochet, or both or are willing and wanting to learn we invite you to our group. During our monthly meetings, our time together includes time of prayer and fellowship. Our prayer shawls are given to anyone in the community needing a sign of sustaining presence in their life to encircle them with healing from pain, consolation for loneliness, and joy in sorrow or gladness.
Would you like to 'help the helpers'? We provide a monthly lunch to volunteers building housing access for Quad Cities families. The Habitat workers appreciate the nourishment and our support.
If you have a knack for hospitality, this group is a great opportunity. Our Funeral Luncheon helpers help set up, serve, and clean up for funeral luncheons. This is a most important and impressionable time for family and friends who are grieving.
We are called to serve through Christ. Additional Social Ministry initiatives include the Easter Egg Hunt in the spring, collecting donations for the homeless community, Trunk or Treat for Halloween, Hygiene for the Holidays which supplies personal care items distributed through the Food Pantry, and Angel Tree adoptions to provide gifts to foster children for Christmas.
