Witness

In the Book of Acts, we read that before he ascended into heaven, Jesus said to his apostles in Acts 1: 8b, "…and you will be my witnesses…" As Christians, we follow in the footsteps of the apostles and we are to be witnesses to the presence and power of Christ in our lives and in the church.
We witness to the good news of Jesus Christ through those activities that help us grow in faith, and live out that faith in our daily lives.

The ministries of St Mark that help us to love God and love each other are those that are part of our witness to the good news of Jesus. These ministries include the faith forming ministries of the church, as well as those ministries that give us the opportunity to share what we have with others.
